TK - 5th Grade: Sequoia YMCA After School Program
The Sequoia YMCA Grant Funded After School Program is located on site at Adelante Selby Spanish Immersion School. After school staff meets with TK-2nd grade students every day until 6PM.
Who we are ... The Y is about nurturing children’s development by providing a safe place to learn foundational skills, develop healthy, trusting relationships and build self-reliance through the Y values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
The Y develops a monthly fun curriculum, which teaches your child the following components: 21st Century skills, STEM, Science, College and Career, Global and Service Learning, Math and Literacy.
Additional Activities held by the YMCA After School Program are, Homework assistance, recreational Sports and Daily Healthy supper meals.

K-5th Grade: REACH Program
The Adelante Selby REACH Program is a recreation and enrichment based program offered through the City of Redwood City Parks, Recreation, & Community Services Department in collaboration with Redwood City School District. The program is held at Adelante Selby Spanish Immersion School and runs from the school dismissal bell until 6:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Your child will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of programs offered through the Adelante Selby REACH Program including: Academic Tutoring, Arts & Crafts, Cooking Projects, Life Skills, Music, Field trips, Recreation Enrichment, Computers, Guest Speakers, Special Events, Dance Instruction, BAWSI Girls, Health & Nutrition, Gardening, Math & Science Enrichment, Homework Time, Sports & Games, and Community Service.

1st - 5th Grades: Siena Youth Center
Adealnte Selby students in grades 3rd-5th that attend Siena Youth Center participate in a variety of fun and exciting activities, sports, and academic enrichment on a daily basis. Our program operates Monday-Friday and select weekends for youth to be a part of a safe, fun, and healthy environment. Throughout the year we will also have evening classes to help students be motivated in school, engaged in program leadership opportunities, and live healthy lifestyles.
We have youth development coordinators, program partners and volunteers that specialize in reading, writing, math, enrichment classes and improvement skills. We also have a high quality sports program that allows us to offer different sports for your youth to be a part of throughout the year. Our program is designed with a detailed schedule for your children on a daily basis. Sports that will be offered throughout the year are basketball, soccer, mixed martial arts, volleyball, dodgeball and cardio fitness classes and many other traditional and non traditional sports.
Our program partners that help us with our mission to help your children are Adelante Selby Spanish Immersion School, Holy Family School, Coaching Corps Change Makers Program, New Voices For Youth, Sheriffs Activities League, Stand Up 8 Foundation, 1 Grain to 1000 Gains, Vivamos Activos and Redwood City 2020.
