About Me:

Hello, my name is Maestra Nell Douglas, and I have been a dual immersion teacher for over 15 years. My first several years of teaching were in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade at a dual immersion school in Mountain View, and then I took several years off to raise my three kids. I've been a parent at our wonderful immersion program for over ten years and now have been back to teaching here for the past 5 years.  I just love our school community as both a parent and a teacher! When I started learning Spanish in 7th grade, I loved it so much I went on to study Spanish in college as well as attend UNAM in Mexico City. I got my BCLAD teaching credential from UC Davis.  Aside from my love of teaching, I enjoy reading, gardening, cooking, the outdoors,  and doing anything at all with my family!
